A great experience while visiting Hawaii!
This is now called Wailea Horseback Adventures, and they just moved to their current location next to the zip-lining a month ago. Maile and Jamie were wonderful guides full of knowledge of the local flora and fauna, which made for excellent conversation along our ride. This was my boyfriend’s first time riding, and the horses were very responsive and well behaved.
The waterfall is a nice secluded spot, but they have bathrooms and changing rooms there to change into a bathing suit. They also have kayaks and standup paddleboards to use. They share this area with the zip-line and ATV people, but we pretty much had it to ourselves.
On the way back to the stable, we got to sample some cherries and guava growing wild in the area. We brought a small lunch to eat by the waterfall, but I feel like we didn’t really need to have lunch on the ride, as we went on the morning ride, and we were done by noon. Time is better spent paddling around the water (cold, but refreshing). The more adventurous ATV people were even cliff diving!
Overall a great experience while visiting Hawaii.
