Wonderful Ride with a Twist

The stables moved in the spring of 2019 and the new location is fabulous.  Each of our four riders had a beautiful, well-mannered, and well-loved horse.  Our guide was Leah and she was fantastic with the horses and the guests, providing an informative narrative during the ride.  We rode through open rangeland overlooking the ocean. Beautiful poinciana and other native flora were all around. The kids especially enjoyed several opportunities for a trot, and maybe even a gallop.

Of course the twist is the waterfall and swimming halfway through the ride.  It’s a beautiful setting for lunch and a great opportunity to refresh in the cool, fresh water below the falls.  The setting is beautiful, but also comfortable. There is a private changing room, a newly built covered area for picnicking.  Beach chairs are available to relax. And there are kayaks and paddleboards for puttering around the river pool. For less-experienced or younger swimmers, there are PFDs available.

All-in-all a fantastic experience.
